UNITED AIRLINES
BIg Blue 2024 design refresh This year, United challenged us to toss all the travel clichés out the emergency exit, ditch the words no one reads anyway, and show people what they actually care about—all in the name of being one thing: undeniably HUMAN. Oh, and just a tiny reminder—we’re also the biggest airline in the world. But, you know, no big deal. ✈️
Here are a few of the OOH pieces my partner and I worked on. Fair warning: this team was HUGE. Like, forget a village—we’re talking a small city, complete with its own mayor ( our GCD ) . There are hundreds—maybe thousands—of OOHs, and at one point, I think someone’s cousin’s neighbor’s grandma even contributed a photo or two. We toured five airports, caught COVID (classic souvenir), and somehow still had an amazing freakin’ time.
